Eine Schneekugelkarte

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today it's my turn again to post a card over at the Cards und More Shop Blog. And since it isn't snowing outside I decided to bring the snow in my craftroom - with a snowglobe card...

The card has been made using the new Card Art stencil Snowglobe by Dutch Doobadoo. I cut it from craft cardstock, covered it slightly with white Crackling Paint and covered the stand with some designer's paper from the Shabby Christmas paperbloc.
This cute Tilda seemed to go so great with the saying.... And I also added an icicle border to the stand - it looked kind of plain without it.

I put some transparency in the opening of the snowglobe and then stamped the "believe in the magic of christmas" and some white dots as snow on it.

To the bottom right I added the two reindeers. They have been cut from the same cardstock as the snowglobe base and to add some more contrast I inked up the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. I used a black and a white Sharpie to add the details to the reindeers.

I went with the most decorations on the top of my snowglobe. There's the star circle - which was cut in half to make it fit the form of the card base -, the fir branches, the holly 1 and holly 2 dies. I used some twine that I put through the snowflake by Magnolia first and then through some cheesecloth and then added two golden bells to it and tying a bow.
