Der Jackpot ist geknackt!

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Saturday I shared with you the birthday card I made for my oldest. Beside a few small items she asked for money. But putting it in a plain envelope was a no go for me as a crafter. And so I made this gambling machine.

I attached a paper straw to the inside of the box. The paper straw can be turned around and then I glued a long strip of bills to it. The handle is made from the other half of the paper straw.

On the back there is a flap. If you open it you can first roll up all the bills and later on remove the last bill from the paper straw.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 27. Februar 2016

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today we are starting a new challenge at Stempeleinmaleins - and we have a theme for you this month which is "embossed".

My oldest celebrated her 21st birthday a few days ago - and this is her birthday card. I dry embossed the numbers on the paper in the background and the saying. To make the embossing pop a little more I used Distress Ink on these areas.

The cute image is colored again using the no-lines technique. I already said that I really love this at the moment and I'm afraid you'll have to see some more in the future... ;)

Noch eine Card in a Box

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Last saturday we were sharing the Card in a Box tutorial over at Stempeleinmaleins. I made another one, this time with an easter theme.

On the outer box I used this bunny-snail. Inside the box card another snail is painting an easter egg.

Und so sieht diese Variante offen aus.

And this is what this version looks like opened.

Behind the snail in the back of the box there is a blue sky with clouds, small butterflies and some bushes.

Again I put the saying on the flaps. I replaced the Os with an easter egg. There are also some yellow tulips growing there.

Ein Album voller Liebe

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing a new creation over at the Cards-und-More-Shop Blog. It's an album, made following the instructions from one of the Scrap'n'Chat on Facebook.

On the front I used this cute Tilda image, colored with the no-lines technique. This little cutie is flying over a cloud, like angels use to do. Papers are from the Budding Spring paperbloc by Noor!Design. They are so beautifully romantical and go great with the angel and the love theme of my album.
The heart shaped tag by Magnolia, the beautiful flourish, a few roses, some cheesecloth and lace are what I used for decorations on the front.

This is the opened album but of course I have detail pics for you!

These are the first pages of my album - allthough these aren't real pages but little pockets holding tags.

On the left side I stamped one of the ATC backgrounds. Then I put cheesecoth, a doily, a punched out matted heart and this mini Tilda on top of it. Tilda is also colored without visible stamping lines - and coloring this in in this size was a challenge. But it fits great on the lace...

The middle part of my album is made from two pockets, that can be folded over individually. Also here I used papers from the Budding Spring bloc. And since it has this beautiful flower print just some of the heart flowers and a text were enough of decorations. I was afraid that the album wouldn't close if I used too many embellishments on the inside. The saying is from the Rustic Woods Paperbloc which contains some sheets with great sayings that I just cut into pieces and arranged on my pockets.

The backside of the pockets are decorated with another saying and for the rest I went with quite the same style like on the front. A little banner was added here additionally.

And this is the last page of my album. I used an old love background stamp by Magnolia and then again went with cheesecloth, doily and lace on top of it. A bingo card - of course with a love theme - and another Mini Tilda found a place here.

Eine Karte mit Tee

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
As always I am sharing my second project for the Vildastamps Blog a day later here on my own blog. Matching - at least themewise - yesterday's get well card I made a card that holds a tea bag. When you're sick a cup of tea is so good. The two projects are just not matching colorwise but I felt like teal and brown and white on the day I made this card....

As mentioned, there is a pocket glued to the front that holds a tea bag:

Under this pocket there is a cut out frame, some cheesecloth and designer's paper.
I did some watercoloring on the pocket and then stamped the stamp from the Scrap and Mixed Media Kit V742 that looks like spilled coffee on the pocket. I also added three sequins.

The coffee mug and the tea bag stamp come in the Coffee Kit A6 V799. I colored in the mug with my Copics and then added the banderole using the paper piecing technique. I used the same designer's paper here like I used for the card base.

At the end I added some text. Therefor I stamped a part of one of the sayings from the English Texts V763 twice and then cut out the letters individually.

Werd schnell gesund!

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello eveyone!
Today it's my turn again to share some cards over at the Vildastamps blog. And my first project is this get well card. It's that time again when a lot of people have the flu and so it's good to have a card like this at hand.

I used the Letter Context V260 stamp in the background. In the top right corner I also used one of the stamps from the Scrap and Mixed Media Kit 2 V742.
I turned the smallest of the Glass Bottles V5 into a medicine bottle by adding a label and a red cross, cut out by hand.
The saying - get well in german - is from the German Lyrics V739 stamp set. I cut it out rectangular and added a little punched out heart.

I added a little box to the card which includes two hankerchiefs. To make people see that these are real and can be used I pulled out the first one a bit.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 20. Februar 2016

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today we are sharing a card in  a box tutorial over at Stempeleinmaleins. The idea is from a video I saw online but it was in spain. So we made a german and englisch tutorial now, the link to the video can be seen in the post over at SEME.
My card in a box is a birthday card I needed recently. And since the lady can be a litte sassy sometimes I went with this image by Mo Manning... ;p

When you take the card out of its box it doesn't look spectacular.

But the sides already tell that there is more behind it.

If you open both sides you have a 3 dimensional birthday greeting. I used a paper rosette and the number 50 on the back of the box/card. In the front there is a cake and presents - because a birthady without those isn't a birthday. The saying is put on both side flaps of the card.

And this is the back of the outer box. I added a pocket for a tag here. And if anyone finds my Für Dich die, that I used the last - and first! - time on this project - I'm going to pay you a reward! It's gone missing and no, I did not accidently put it in the trash. My husband and I checked that 3 times by completly emptying the trash can... :(

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 13. Februar 2016

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today's tutorial at Stempeleinmaleins is this mailbox card. You can still make this last minute as a valentine's gift.

There is a 3D maibox on this card. Mine is already a little rusty... I did this using my Gilding Wax. There is flying heart on the wing - is this what you call it? - and some ivy is growing at its end. There are also a few flowers.
The mailbox itself is full with letters...
But why is there Sweet Mail written on it?

Well, I put a small chocolat in between those letters. The top letters are glued to the mailbox, the bottom ones are glued to the card itself. Now you can pull out the chocolat but the card still looks nice.

Prinz zu verschenken!

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
For today's post over at the Cards-und-More-Shop Blog I made princes to give away. We give our girls a little something for Valentine's Day each year, something that usually isn't done here in Germany. But there was that year when they realized that this is a day where you give your beloved one a little gift and we didn't want them to feel like we don't love them and had a little something prepared for them as well. And you know how it goes, once you started something like this... Now they are teenagers and my oldest already moved out but still, they get a little pressie. And what is every teenager's dream - right, a prince (ours don't care about the white horse). So when I came across those little chocolat frogs I had the idea for this box. It's the Box Art stencil Milk Carton by Dutch Doobadoo. I added a window so the frogs can look out.

The boxes are all covered with papers from the With Love paperbloc, each with a different design. To add a romantic touch I also added an ivy border. And the saying from Magnolia.
To make the frogs sit right in the box, I added a piece of cardstock with a cut out oval which holds the frogs in place.

To the top of the box I added a tag. I stamped the valentine's tag and cut it out using one of the new tickets. Then I used Distress Ink Forest Moss on the edges. Some lace and twine hold it to the clip which is used to close the box.

Just in case those frogs won't turn into princes once they got kissed they will just be eaten right away... ;)

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 06. Februar 2016

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
A Twisted Card is what we share today at Stempeleinmaleins. Honestly, I wasn't too impressed by it when I first saw it - there's just not enough room for all the decorations and papers I usually use. But once I got started and had an idea popping up in my head it was lots of fun to make!

A dear friend sent me some of the Gorjuss stamps for christmas. Yes, I knew the old ones by Sugar Nellie but those new ones - I totally missed those. But one of them was the perfect pick for this card. I colored her in in red, white and black and have chosen matching papers and accessoires. I went with the heart tag by Magnolia and half a doily and put those in the first pocket of the card. A few playing cards, that came with another image, are peaking out, too.
A butterfly from modelling paste and a few flowers also fit on the front of the card.

So sieht die Karte dann offen aus.

This is what the opened up card looks like.

On the left side I put a valentine's saying and two more heart sticks - there are a few on the front of my card also.

On the right side there is another pocket in which you can put a gift card or a small card.
